Hi,

When i put the mail merge in word with the numbers for example the data available in the excel sheet is 33.46 but in the mail merge it is showing as 33.460000000000001. I want the out put as 33.46 in mail merge. I have tried of putting the round formula in the excel it is not working.

Kindly help
 
Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but a handy tip nonetheless ;)

Instead of normal paste (ctrl + v), try the special paste (ctrl + alt + v). Maybe one of the options is what you need.

Is the number 33.460000000000001 the true number in Excel but the cells have been formatted to show 33.46. If so the full number is still there and that may be what Word is picking up. You may have to re jig your numbers in Excel or alter settings in Word.

The way I did it with a column of numbers in A column with digits up to 16 was to place this in B1 =ROUNDDOWN(A1,2) send in down the B column and then copy B and paste back as Value!
