Macros issue

Hi, i have just joined and am delighted to have found this website. I am putting together a macros in Excel 2007 to plot an x,y scatter plot. When i run the macros the (x,y) data is plotted but the (x,x) data is plotted too. For a simple graph it is easy to spot which is the (x,x) line but for large sets of data, it can be difficult to determine which is which. Is there something wrong in my settings that i need to change or has anyone seen this issue before,
