Macro to find & replace text

Hello everyone,

I have two files, Book1 & Book2. Book1 is used for reporting. I have to do find and replace many times to update this workbook. Is it possible to do it with a macro.
I will put "text to be find" in Cell A1 of book2 and "text to be replaced" in cell A2 of book2.
When I run the macro it should find & replace the text (which is stored in cell A1 &A2 of book2) in all sheets of book1.

Thanks,

RANJEETBHAG

This forum operates 24/7 with members in countries all around the world, a question may be answered by someone and then go quite, there are many reasons for this as members have many things to do outside of the Forum, eat, sleep, work, hobbies, family the list goes on and on. A reply and answer may be urgent and important to you but not to the members.

You post a question and then 40 minutes later who are asking if anyone can help, as pointed out to you by sgmpatnaik this is the weekend and members will be enjoying their time off from work, even during the week 40 minutes to wait for an answer is not very long.

Have you tried the search box top right?....it does work!!

Hi, RANJEETBHAGAT
40 minutes of delay... Yes, it's absolutely inadmissible. You'd better use the alternative of hiring a local consultant who may provide you the exact tailored service. Should I remember you that these forums are supported by contributors who dedicate part of their time in an absolutely free way to help other people and answer questions?
Regards!
