Macro to filter by month using button or text box

Hello everyone,


I'm working on an excel file called PLA to count the losses in daily bases, the end user has to enter the data in the PLA sheet ( Production Losses Accounting ) i named this table as Table 2 and created pivot table in ( Top5 & Top20 sheet ) so when the user is updating Table 2 it will be added the pivot table, everything is working with me.

one issue i need your help. in the Top5 & Top20 sheet i have created Chart to get top 5 and top 20 Losses. We are using this chart in monthly basses so what i'm doing to get December report is I'll go to the pivot table and filter the month and choose the month by filtering and choose the month that i want so the chart will be updated but this is long process if i'm having 5 pivot tables. I tried to make buttons for all the months, i assigned macro for all the months separately ( like for January one button February another button ) but sometimes is showing error and it will stop and opened the code window so i deleted all the buttons.


one more this, if you could include 1st Quarter, 2nd Quarter, 3rd Quarter and 4th Quarter that will be highly appreciated.



Can you assign macro for me and explain how to avoid the error while assigning a macro
