Hi, I work a lot with hotkeys and want to create a macro to change the background color of a cell with a hotkey

I want to press the button and change it to following colors. Can you help me with that? Thanks!

ExecuteExcel4Macro "PATTERNS(1,0,5,TRUE,2,4,0,0.799981688894314)"
ExecuteExcel4Macro "PATTERNS(1,0,8,TRUE,2,4,0,0.399975585192419)"
ExecuteExcel4Macro "PATTERNS(1,0,10,TRUE,2,4,0,0.399975585192419)"
ExecuteExcel4Macro "PATTERNS(1,0,7,TRUE,2,4,0,0.399975585192419)"

Thanks for the quick reply Luke. I am using this for windows but the new mac version doesnt support this feature (yet)

Hmm. Not being familiar with Mac, I'll start guessing. If you open the Macro menu (Alt+F8), do you have the options button where you can assign hotkeys? you could do it that way I suppose, and have the macros stored in your Personal workbook, so that they work on all workbooks you have open.
