Macro shortcut to resize a picture

Hello Guys I'm a beginner in Excel and I'm doing an assignment the requires me to add a shortcut to resize and image inside a group of merged cells. I have seen some codes and scripts but to be honest I have no idea how use them or apply the shortcut. I can add the button to resize the picture but the requirement is to add a shortcut. for example shift+D or any other shortcut. Please help.

Thanks.

Short cut isn't written in the code itself.

Rather, just write your code. Then go to "Developer" tab in the ribbon menu.

Click on "Macros" button (or alternately press Alt + F8).

In the menu find your code, hit "Options". You will see menu to assign shortcut there.

FYI - You can't use Shift + for shortcut, Ctrl + Shift + d is possible.
