long text dump in a cell to meaningful data in column with logical spilling

Hi, 1 of my friend recommended this site & i find this very helpful. there is lot of learning which i've got & this is endless.. i wonder there is so much we can do in xls.


can you please help in writing macro / formula to split data from 1 cell to columns.


Please find the xls file in dropbox. It includes 2 sheets (input & output).

Output is based on logical splitting of input.

Kindly help me in writing macro / formula for converting this type of dump to understandable output.

If you haven't performed yet the search herein, try going to the topmost right zone of this page (Custom Search), type the keywords used in Tags field when creating the topic or other proper words and press Search button. You'd retrieve many links from this website, like the following one(s) -if any posted below-, maybe you find useful information and even the solution. If not please advise so as people who read it could get back to you as soon as possible.


Looking at your uploaded file I notice that you have fields separated by spaces but you do have internal spaces into the fiels. Those of date values are quoted so they're out of the problem, but the rest of all inter-spacing will be an issue.


If that issue didn't exist you'd surely could use any of the solutions that you might have found during the previously suggested search process, for example like this one in which I commented minutes ago:
