Linking back to a Shape

Hoping that someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a workbook that details where in a particular process tasks are, I have drawn the process flow on the opening sheet and can click on each process block to see which tasks are at that stage, using a macro assigned to each shape in the process.

Once I have seen the data on what tasks are at that stage I want to be able to go back to the process block but I can't for the life of me work out how to address the process blocks I know that the first block is referred to as rectangle 1, but I've searched and searched how to actually use that, but can't find out how to actually use that.

Hi ,

You can make use of the Application.Caller method ; this will contain the name of the shape which transferred you to the tasks for that shape.

If you upload your workbook with the data , the blocks and the code in it , you can get a more specific answer.

Can't upload it because of our network security.
