linking a cell in one ss to a cell in another ss

I have 2 Excel 2003 spreadsheets in the same notebook & would like to link 2 "calculated cell totals" in SS1 to 2 "cells" in SS2.

klxdrt, you mean 2 worksheets in same workbook or 2 workbooks on same computer?
And what is linking? You can just reference those cells. You might have a read of this tutorial:

I read & tried the formula in your link. However the link took me thru a cattiwampus process & I was able to get it to work for the initial cell but when I tried to copy the formula down, it wouldn't work. Sorry I didn't mention I'm using Excel 2003 as I only use a ss sparingly. Excel 2003 more than meets my needs.
