Link to another tab, show only filtered values

In the attached file, on sheet 1 in cell C3, I have a link to sheet2. But suppose I filter for a value such as 10004. The value in C3 is still the same. I am trying to find a way to make the filtered values on sheet2, appear in column C on sheet1.

Is there a way to do this? If so, what is this called?
