Link each tab in a workbook to a different data source

Hi all,

I have a workbook with a tab for each month of the year. I would like to link each monthly tab to a separate data source. How would I go about doing this? Whenever I try to do it, it only links to one data source, not one for each month on each separate tab. If my explanation isn't clear, please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help!
 
I don't think there's any restriction for no/type of data source to be connected. It might be how you are connecting, what is your data source i.e. Excel File, SQL Table, txt/CSV file, how is your data organised in Source file i.e. does it contain all months data in single file/table or you have distinguised file/table for each month.

please upload a sample file for Source and destination and we can have a look.
