Link Data and dates in Calender

How can I link the data in excel table with the calender in the same sheet ...I created calender using developer-->insert-->calender control


if this is wrong way of doing it please tell me correc way ...i am preparaing a daily sales dashboard and want to show numbers as per the date of the month.

Your data sounds to be just right to be a pivot table, then showing the numbers by date or any other data name you would have in the pivot would be very easy to do.
