Line Graph

Hi guys,
Having a bit of trouble plotting a line graph across a 12 month period. I only want to display the months that have data without the line graph droping to zero for the months for with no data.
I have selected the rows (for my x axis) only I want with data e.g. in months jan, feb, march, june , september, november.
I then selected all the months - and this displayed the data I wanted but had the month jan-june instead of the months i wanted.
Similarly I only selected the accossiated months that match the data - this showed all the months jan-dec and had data for those months which was correct but i would like to hide the months with no data?
Any sugestions?
Thanks in advance,
Shane

Hi Shane,
can you please post a sample file as making chart on above criteria its matching desired requirement.
sample file will clear the things. :)

Attached is a sample file.
There are four sets of data shown to show the different ways the data is presented.

The problem is with data set D. Where there are gaps and I can in months data and I want to graph only the months with data as I have in A, B and C.

Thanks,

Shane

Hi Shane,

Convert values with 0 or #Div/0 error to =NA() to get #N/A error, that's way your line graph will not drop to 0.

Regards,

@Shane i would suggest you to make dynamic data for chart purpose because you do not want to show the months with error value or zero value

@ SM i was not aware of this
