Line Chart Problem.

Hi folks,

I've inserted a two minute video that asks a question about creating Line Charts. Easier to make the video than write the whole question out. Hope the video quality is good.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Jesse ,

It may be easier for you to make a video than take the trouble to type it out ; what about those who may want to help ?

Leaving aside the video quality , I will have to wait for the video to load , and then listen carefully once , probably a second time , which means at least 2:42 , if not more.

Reading through typed matter would have taken me less than a minute.

Ignoring all this , having a file would have made it much easier.

Hi Narayan,

Understood. I will upload a file at first opportunity and type out the problem. It seems every message board and it's followers have their preferences.

Looking at the formula for the errant line, data for it appears to be coming in part from a sheet called SHEET1_7. I can't see this sheet in your video - it could be hidden, or just not visible in the video.
The first argument in the SERIES formula (the title of the line) and the 3rd argument (the values) seem to come from this sheet.
You've probably copied the chart from another sheet and haven't adjusted all the lines accordingly.

Thanks for the tip on Hidden Sheets, or I should say "Very Hidden" in the VB Editor. VB has always been the scariest part of Excel for me. Not a bad first step into the pool.
