I have been struggling with this for months and need some expert help form a GURU
What is happening is when I do a reset from the (Input Book, Input tab) from one Game to the next. When you do a reset they go down a row at a time or more if you like. You simply put the number game you want to go down to in cell Q5 and press rest cell S5
When I do a reset you will notice my E's and O's get mixed up (OBHITS book tab #1-E-O) you have to link the books each time you do a reset. Link the Input book first to the OBHITS from the INPUT tab and then go to the LINK tab in the external book (OBHITS) then close them and reopen and they will reset and be linked. SOMETIMES THEY LINK WITHOUT DOING THIS BUT FOUND THIS IS A FOR SURE WAY. I have been through this thing cell by cell by cell and I can not seem to find out why it is scrambling my EO's. The Ups and Downs all work fine. I know it has to be in the linking. When you do a reset look at the (OBHITS book tab Even-Odd-Start) they should move from Game 50 to 49, 49 moves to 48, 48 moves to 47 and so on. So if I have EEEEE in Game 50, OOOOO in Game 49 and EOEOE in Game 48, when I reset it Game 49 should be EEEEE, Game 48 should be OOOOO, Game 47 should be OEOEO and so on. There will be ????? in Game 50
I have attached pictures of a reset so you can see what happens after it resets.
You will notice in the picture titles before the reset Game 50 has EEEOO and game 49 has OEEEE, Game 48 has OEOOO
In the picture titles after the reset Game 50 moves down to Game 49 and should read EEEOO BUT it says EEOOO, Gae 49 moves down to game 48 and it says OEEEE, Game 48 moves to 47 and says OEOOO and so on.
As you can see they mixed up the letters and I need to find out why and fix it. Any help is appreciated and I am not opposed to changing my formulas to a Macro(s) I just want to fix them LOL. I have 3 other books that need correcting too but if I can get one book done I can do the rest.
