Lakhs to millions

Hi,

I work in finance department and my reporting is in India and overseas.

Is there any way i can format the cells "," to millions. If i change the regional setting all worksheet becomes in millions and it will be difficult for India reporting.

As now in excel 10,00,000 to 1,000,000 display with any formula or a custom formatting. the comma separator is not helping.

You seems to copied & pasted above writings from old thread.
Are Your values numbers or texts, which looks like numbers?
You should send a sample Excel-file to get solution for Your case.

I found those three cells.
$ 0.00 is sum from above range and other two values are fixed values.
What is Your challenge?

I see figures in lakhs unlike your above figures which shows correctly in 19, 914,000/-

You've used ... 'Your own' ( marked below ) ... Custom Formatting.

Have You tested to use those 'ready' Custom Formats?
In many times, in even minor mistake could make unwanted results.
Many of those 'ready' Custom Formats has three parts.
Your used 'own version' has two ... and $ position is different.

Hi, Yes, I used own custom format as per the requirement, however now if I am changing to the given custom formats it's still shows in lakhs..
