Respected Sirs,

We have a data which is grouped by columns. Kindly let me know how to give a label name for each grouped column before the + sign so user expands the required group based on the label name.

I tried to insert a text box but this is not getting inserted in the group area.

1st Group - Account
2nd Group - Material
3rd Group - Value

We also need to group column G:H as Vendor, but when grouping it comes in the 1st group of Account.

Thank you very much.

with regards,
thomas

Hi ,

For the first requirement , see if this is OK.

Regarding the second requirement , it is not possible ; there has to be at least one column in between two groups ; thus , you cannot have one group consisting of columns A through F or G , and another group consisting of columns G and H.

If the first group comprises columns A through G , then the next group can only start from column I.

If the first group comprises columns A through F , then the next group can only start from column H.

Respected Sir,

Thank you so much for your support and this solution.

Correct me if I am wrong, for the solution, we have to insert a text box as wide as the grouped columns and enter the name. When the columns are collapsed, the first alphabet is visible.

Thank you very much once again,

with regards,
thomas
