Knocking OFF

I have data in rows in whcih last row ia off amount. I want to knock the such that are positive and negative for exmaple;


DocNo. Reference Type Amount

5456666 5555 CA -209

0988990 5225 CA 100

6354666 5512 CA 209


What i want the amount -209 & 209 copied to other location with compete other deatils and the date dosn't have knocking of remains there.

Right now i m doing it by converting the data into adsolute and then sort it then use conditional formating and copying the knocking off entries. the date is huge so please help me out.

Welcome to the forum, if i understand you correctly try this


1.Select the range A2:A4.

2.On the Data menu, click Text to Columns.

3.In Step 1 of the Convert Text To Columns Wizard, make sure that the Fixed Width option is selected, and then clickNext.

4.In Step 2 of the Convert Text To Columns Wizard, double-click the first two break lines to delete them, and then click Next.

5.In Step 3 click Finish.
