Couple of months ago, I came across a brilliant solution Narayank991 provided to a question asked on this forum. Here is a link to the thread:

I've tried to customize the solution to my requirements to no avail. I was wondering if someone could please help me put this issue to rest. Attached is a sample file with details of my request.

All you're really doing in this file is filtering a table. I would just add turn the data into an Excel Table, then add a slicer or a timeline to the table, and use that to filter it. Much simpler than formulas, VBA.

Thanks for the suggestion; but for some other reasons, slicer is not the way to go for this project. Thanks tho'

Request you to explain how do you add slicer or a timeline to the table?

I am using Excel 2007 version.
