Hi

I have 50 to 60 Different path where i need to check if any files are saved or not

Can any one please tell me how to identify is any files are saved on particular path

Problem is particular path if files are saved i create folder numbering those files and cut paste in folder but after that any one save files i want to notification numbers of files save that notification is this possible to create macro for this

Hi !

That needs at least two further explanations :

• what's the logic to identify files saved or not in a folder on a disk
'cause all present files are à fortiori allready saved !

• What is the link with Excel ?!
As here we are on an Excel forum and not on a system / Windows forum
and doing this kind of stuff under VBA is often the slowest way …

Hi

Logic is we have 50 to 60 different path so we need to check each path everyday.

E.g If i check few path then i create folder with what files saved till that day i update in Our Allocation but after that if any file save then that need to identify is problem

If we have macro to look each specify path then how many folder are created inside path. Then folder name & Count of files of each folder we updated in Allocation then we can tally with macro data if any mismatch then we can identify

Main thing is if any specify path files are save or not need to look with help of macro why i need macro because we have 50 to 60 different path

Files save by Other team we do not know when they saved it how many files they saved i want to check each path is time consuming task so i need macro to check how many files are saved on each path

In fact you just need to count files in a folder ?!

Using VBA will be more time consuming than any other way …
