Is .xlsb good for daily work sheet?

Hi,


In my team we were using .xls file sofar.However my friend suggest to use ".xlsb" to reduce file size and fast saving.


Is this ".xlsb" good for daily shared worksheet? please provide your valuable feedback.

.xlsb does what it says and there is no reason not to use it daily.

Storing information in binary form rather than XML documents for opening and saving documents more quickly and efficiently. Intended especially for very large documents with tens of thousands of rows, and/or several hundreds of columns.
