Is it possible to add comments in the Pivot table.

Hi Experts

Could you please let me know if it is possible to add comment in or around the pivot table. I tried adding the comments, but when I change the filter in the Pivot the comments changes its orignal place.

Hi Jagdev -

AFAIK this is not possible in pivot tables..however, there is a possible work around provided you are willing to give up pivot table and use formulae do the job for you...if you are OK, please share the sample data and the output required..I can give it a shot..

Jagdev -No, it is not possible to add a comment using formula in PT but you can create a pivot type view using formulae and then add formulae to create the comment...

I am not sure, if i understood your second question...

I search it on google and find that it is possible to convert pivottable structure to plane excel..

I am not able to find the respective google site now..Could you please let me know if it is possible, because that will solve my issue as well.

Also, I tried using the above code, but it is throwing an error...
