Hi friends!

I am little bit confused that i am unable to guess that where to use these above mentioned formulas (index, offset ,match and vlookup). I want to know that where to use these useful tools in excel. Can not we use vlookup in place of index and match function?

I will be very thanful if somebody will give me little or brief tips.
