INDEX/MATCHING?

Long story short need to:
a) take a field in customer record
b) find matching cell content in another table
c) pull in adjacent cell values in single cell comma delimited
d) count occurrences of specific string value within the comma delimited cell

Can use Vlookup to return one value, can't use it to return multiple. Think Index/match will work but not sure how. Easier to see than explain.

There is one more step shown in the worksheet. However the mechanics work this is the point I need to arrive at: finding the minimum # of sources for a group of shows and assigning the right source back to the each show.

Hi:

I have coded a UDF for your 2nd step I am not sure about how you arrived at the numbers for your third step . if you can you elaborate a bit on that.
