Hi bines53,

It is quite hard to propose something else without a clear objective. Could you please describe what you are trying to do with this formulas? Which kind of data are you working with?

Cheers,

Hi, bines53!

As a new user you might want (I'd say should and must) read this:
http://chandoo.org/forum/forums/new-users-please-start-here.14/

And regarding your issue, I have an "Issue 1" issue. :)

Your array formulas work fine with the data set you provided, so a priori I wouldn't consider replacing them by VBA code or UDF, unless what you answered to Aurelie:
I need to compare a large range of data that change
actually make your workbook to transform a 2014 chronograph into an hourglass of 2014 B.C.

If this is the case, would you mind elaborating a bit on L23 formula? Either I couldn't start this new year with a few lights on or I never had enough lights to be turned on simultaneously. :eek:Thank you.

BTW, how many cases / data cells for the three samples?

Regards!

L23, the formula checks each line in all rows in the range (27 to 34), and returns the maximum numbers similar to Front Row 23 .
