I would appreciate suggestions that can produce summary numbers with out a lot of cut/pasting. I have Daily Productivity for 30 employees and need to extrapolate for each employee: 1) # of type a transaction, 2) # of type b transactions, 3) diff between start and finish. Data is exported in excel 2003 file.
Is there a way to create a template so that certain data for all 30 employees' spreadsheet and is "dumped" to specific columns to then calculate the items above? For example
Time Items
8:00 AM 1234a
8:15 AM 12345
8:30 AM 50001
1. Transactions a, would count any cell <=12345 for specified range {so count should also incl 1234a, correct?}
2. Transaction b, would count any cell >12345
3. Both transactions would then be divided by the time difference to get an average time.
