Hello Everyone,

I want to import data in excel from different file format like csv, txt, sql etc. After that apply some filtration in it and export data in above defined file format. So I want to Know whether any option in MS-Excel through which we could perform this actions or I have to use any third party tool. Please give me valuable suggestion.

Thanks in advance!

You can do that in Excel. From within XL, go to Open, change the 2nd drop down to "any file" and find the file you want. Perform the operations you want, then when you do the Save As, change to the correct format you want. Note that some XL formatting options will not be preserved in all exports (ie, txt files can not have colored cells).

Hi Beenu Sarawat,

MS-Excel has an option to import data form different file format. To import data from file, first of all open MS-Excel and go to Data Tab and select External Data option from toolbar. But in case using third party tool, you can use many famous tool such as MindStick DataConverter, AutoConverter tool etc. I had used MindStick DataConverter which perform such kind of action.
