Hi All,

I know I am doing something simple wrong, but really need someone to spot exactly what it is.

I can't seem to get this iferror formula working. All i want to do is return a value in cell c4, based on an entry in C3 from the 2 columns of data. Help appreciated. I have tried different brackets in different places with no luck.

Thanks in advance

Hi ,

By posting an image of your formula , you have made it difficult for me to copy and paste the formula into either my post or into an Excel worksheet.

If you can put the formula in your post itself , I can help.

Otherwise , someone else will answer.

Hi Narayan,

Ok, it was a bit tough as the formula was not working, hence I was unable to save the sheet :(

What I have done is save the sheet without the iferror part in the formula if that helps.

Hi ,

See the file.

In case a formula is generating an error , and Excel does not accept it , the easiest way out is to insert an apostrophe at the start , so that the formula is accepted as a text string.

Awesome, thanks. couple of rabbit ears did the trick. I will use an apostrophe next time, brain implosion sorry. Great work and fast response. Super :)
