If number on one sheet is greater than zero then copy row to another sheet....

What formula could I use to copy a line (A1 to A5) on sheet A to sheet B (B1 to B5) if cell A1 has a value greater than 1?

This is for a bidding template I use which has tons of lines that will be unused and will have a zero value. I need a summary sheet to get rid of the zeros.

-Thank you.

Hi ,

Can you clarify the following ?

1. You say your worksheet has a lot of lines ; are you referring to rows with multiple columns or cells in a single column ? Can you indicate the range ove which you have data that you will need to copy to a summary sheet ?

2. When you mention A1 is it the current cell in column A ? Assume that with the range you have mentioned , cells A2 , A3 and A5 are non-zero ; will these 3 cells need to be copied to the summary sheet ?

1 - Thank you for asking to clarify as i messed it up. Would not be A1 to A5 implying up and down rather A1 to E5 (left to right).
2 - The cell with the quantity amount will have to be in one of the cells A1 to E5. I would like all five of the cells to be copied to sheet B.

Lets say A1 is the quantity cell.

Here is a simplified version - want to take the inventory items from the sheet labeled start and get them in finish if the quantity has a value of 1 or greater. This is but a fraction of a bidding template. I need to simplify the list so that when crews go out they have a short list that is not full of items with a zero value. Thus the summary (finish) page.

Hi ,

If we take the data given in your latest uploaded file , then only the first row of data will be transferred ; is this correct ?
Code:
2 Edging Edge, Poly 6" 20 ft section

Hi ,

In that case , why do you want to use formulae or VBA ?

You can use either the AutoFilter or the Advanced Filter to get what you want ; is this not acceptable ?

Someone else with lesser Excel skill will be using this. Its a bidding template. I just want them to be able to print the last page for the foreman to pull supplies with. I don't want them to have to filter things. Want it done for them with formulas if possible.

Is it the fact that its multiple cells being transferred that makes this difficult?

Will apply it to the spreadsheet tomorrow and see how it works. Thank you very much. I have been trying to solve this for hours.
