IF function question

Hi everybody!
I calculate fees fof kids visiting kindergarten. The maximum fee which the parent should pay is $48. Sometimes depends on the month's days the maximum fee is between $47 and $48. The problem is when I have such calculation I need to repair the cell which has more than $47 and less than $48 by hand. I decided to use IF function and I did the following =IF(47.94<H11<48;[48];[H11]). And of course there was an error. If the value is less than 47.94 I just need it to be the same value as H11. Where is my mistake? I attach the file

I'm not understanding what you want to happen. Please explain in simple English what you wish to happen using the example you have posted. Use your spreadsheet and give a couple of examples.

=IF(AND(47.94>H11,H11<48),H11,48)
