HI Everyone,

I need a formula or code to identify and highlight the same records like in column B with pattern changing years. Like highlighted in Column C.

Yes Thanks Buddy! This is OK if records are in continuation but what if records are not in continuation and still have duplicates.

And I have data starting from A2 to 1 Lack rows actually.

Please see if something can happen.

Hi ,

Can you clearly explain the logic for highlighting an entry ?

Why are rows 13 , 14 , 15 , 16 , 17 , 18 not highlighted ?

HI Narayan,

I need to highlight duplicate entries only, If the Years are different given in column C for each row for the same record.

Then why have some entries not been highlighted ?

In the uploaded workbook , why is the first entry not highlighted ?

Looking at the data , excluding row 5 , every other row needs to be highlighted. Is this correct ?

Hi, Yes thats correct Narayan.

Actually formula provided by Grah in same conversation was for like if the records are in continuation...which I have same applied in uploaded workbook, but that is not working because records are not in continuation.

So actually need to change/correct that formula or If any CODE can sort it out.
