I want to insert calendar control in the userform

ThrottleWorks

Excel Ninja
Hi,

I want to insert calendar control in the userform.

I have done this earlier on another pc at another location.

But I can not see Calendar control in the “additional control” of the userform on the pc I am using now.

I do not know why there is a difference in the structure.

At both the places I am using XLSM file.

Can anyonce guide me on this.

Hi Dave, I am trying to insert the calender control on a new file.

I am trying to say, the excel on this pc does not provide me calender control.

I have used it somewhere else, but can not get it on the pc which I am using now.

Both the PCs are at different location, both the files are different.

They do not have any connection, sorry for earlier confusion.

My question is, at present excel does not provide me calender control, what will be the solution to get it.

Thanks for the help, have a nice day.

Excel 2007. The file is xlsm in format.

I have a copy of previous file (abc) on new machine also.

The calender control on abc is running fine on the previous location.

But if i try it run abc on new location I get a messege

"could not load an object because it is not available on this machine"

I checked abc file for testing purpose only.

Dave, thanks a lot for the help, I will check it & revert.

Have a nice day.

P.S. - Why did they remove such a usefull control in later version. They should not have.

It was a microsoft access feature which is no longer available so was removed from excel too. An older version of the calendar control may still work for you (possibly version 11)

Sir,

Sorry for late reply, I have done this earlier on PC 1, now testing it on PC 2.

Finally it has to be implemented on PC 3.

I do not have calendar or date control on PC 2.

At present I am like as mentioned in one of the links "I'm guessing that you need to have administrator rights to do this as I keep getting an error telling me it failed. Yes, I'm at work...sigh... "

I am working on this, will revert ASAP.

Have a nice day.
