I can't see Excel files on network drive

All of a sudden I can't see Excel files in some folders on the Network drive which I know should be there. Before this occurred, I answered some prompt saying something about Excel and "network discovery."

Does anybody have any idea on how to fix this?
 
I'm sorry, but I was looking in the wrong folder. But I'm still curious to know what this stuff about Excel and network discovery is all about.

Has anybody ever encountered this?
 
Network discovery is a network setting that affects whether your computer can find other computers and devices on the network and whether other computers on the network can find your computer.
