Hyperlink in a Chart

Hi,

Is there a way to create a hyperlink in a chart that can be clicked to bring someone directly to the data on another tab in excel 2010?

Hi Lauren ,

There is no straightforward method to do this :

If your chart is on a worksheet ( if it is an embedded chart ) , then you can use the technique outlined here :

If your chart is on a chart sheet , then it is more complicated , and involves some VBA ; the technique is outlined here :

Thanks for the link. My charts are on a worksheet. I read the example, and was still unclear after it said to create a link behind the chart. Can you please clarify? Your help is much appreciated!
