hyperlink excel to word

anyone can tell me if i want to make a hyperlink in excel to open a word document heading then how is this possible


i have a excel sheet where i want to use this link

If you open the hyperlink icon in Excel you can choose your target there.

i knew little bit with the hyperlink but how to link a cell with the another word document heading or line or particular word,

let's take an example - if i have a sheet1 and cell value is december...

word file have some december heading and there details so when click on december in excel cell then it should be reached on december in word document?

In WORD define the place that you want to JUMP to as a BOOKMARK -- in your case highlight December and INSERT BOOKMARK. Name the bookmark as December.


In Excel, when you insert the hyperlink linking to the document, add #December after the file name.


When you click on the link in Excel, Word will open and the document will scroll to the #December bookmark.
