I have a data containing name of the students, registration no. and receipt no. The students will pay there fee in different receipt in different dates or same date (ie. 1,2 or 3 more receipt) a few students will pay in one receipt or may pay in 3 more receipt, now i want to combine the receipt no. in different cell into one single cell and i want "/" symbol between the receipt no. one after the other

example

SL. No. Name Registration no. Date Receipt No.

Hi Ramya ,

Assuming that the data you have posted is sorted on the student name , and extends from A1 through E14 , then in F2 , you can enter the following formula :

=IF(B2<>B1,E2&"",F1&" / "&E2)

Copy this down.
