hi all,

do anybody know how to unhide a group of worksheet all at once? please let me know the process.

Good evening sanmaya

You must have one sheet that is not hidden, right click on the sheet tab at the bottom choose un-hide, with a lot of sheets you will get a pick list make your choice.

Hi sanmaya,

Select the sheet that is visible, right click, select unhide, select sheet you want to unhide.

Sorry bobhc I just over stepped you :)

Good evening Faseeh

I stand 2.2 meters tall weigh in at a touch over 132 kilos, solid (decades of heavy engineering)........and you stepped over me!!!!! :)

Thanks Bobhc and Faseeh,

i know this process, but i want to unhide all the sheets which are hidden all at once, i mean in one go.

Wow, bobhc, you're a giant! =O

To actually answer the question though, of " how to unhide a group of worksheet all at once"

I'm afraid XL does not give us that option. You would think that since this is valid to hide a group:

[pre]
Code:
Worksheets(Array("Sheet1", "Sheet2")).Visible = xlHidden
this would work to unhide, but it doesn't. =(

Worksheets(Array("Sheet1", "Sheet2")).Visible = xlVisible
[/pre]

Not "technically" all in one shot, but here's a little macro I use to quickly unhide everything.

[pre]
Code:
Sub UnhideAll()
Dim ws As Worksheet
For Each ws In ThisWorkbook.Worksheets
ws.Visible = True
Next
End Sub
[/pre]

Evening sanmaya

If you take Luke M's code and put it in to a VBA module, and then assign it to a button on one of your worksheets then all you have to do is click button to un-hide all

P.S Luke M

I am the oldest brother (good looking, suave good thinker, modest to a fault)........but and my youngest brother(not so good looking, definitely not suave, and most definitely not a good thinker) stands 2.63 meters

WOW! Should I be looking for him on one of the Olympic basketball teams? Sounds like all he would have to do it stand by the hoop.

Luke used to play...............but thankfully we both found the joys of drink and fair women, at this age the women bit has worn of some what but the appreciation of malt whiskey grows :)

Good evening friend

Quote from Sir Issac Newton "If I have seen further it is by standing on ye sholders of Giants."

Quote from bobhc " If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Ninjas.

If you're not just teasting me bobhc, you should call Guiness World records.

Hi, sanmaya!

I'm sure you don't mind if we hijack your topic for a while, do you? Thank you very much for your kindness.

@b(ut)ob(ut)hc, Luke M

Hi!

I knew I had this one right here... Discovering where "here" was wasn't so easy... but (and there's always a but):

Regards!

PS: it's clear who's b(ut)ob(ut)hc, but (again) I was just wondering who is who among the others...

Thanks a lot to you all for your support and help.

i used the LUKEM's Code and assigned a key to it and it is working perfectly.

Thanks once again.

Hurrah! Glad you were able to get it working, and for indulging our silly ramblings. =)

When the first laptops were sold in the early 1980s, they were marketed as a niche product for traveling businessmen who could use them to get some work done on the plane. Like most new technologies, the earliest versions were extremely slow, bulky, and expensive. The battery alone weighed pounds and the memory was microscopic compared to desktop models. A couple of decades later in 2008, the laptop replaced the desktop as the most popular type of computer.

What to look for?

There are two good reasons why the laptop overtook the desktop. Firstly,tods shoes, the battery got smaller, lighter,link:http://www.tods-shoes-outlet.com, and more powerful. To this day, battery life and the weight of the computer remain key selling points. Secondly, the memory of the average laptop increased to the point where it is now rivals the average desktop. Memory is an important feature for all laptop shoppers,tods on sale, especially for those that download files from the internet.

Digital Cameras

Most of us remember dropping our little black film canisters with the gray caps off at the Fotomat and coming back a day later to a hefty fee. While photo developing stores still exist, they are much harder to find because of a single invention—the digital camera. These cameras give users the ability to capture images and store them on a portable memory device. The pictures can then be printed, transferred to a computer, or stored on the camera.
