how to set index formula from a filtered data

Hi Abu Kaiser,
Welcome to the Forum!
I just opened a new file, created a list consisting of two columns and ten rows, filter it for the first one, used INDEX() on that filtered list and that does not give me any problem at all. Can you elaborate the problem or upload the sample file.
