How to Select Multiple Pivot Table Filter Items Quickly?

When filtering data within a Pivot Table is there a way to quickly select multiple filter items without having to click or use the arrow keys/space bar?

I look at a lot of information with incremental ranges and want to, for example, look at everything above, below or between certain data points. When the list is 100s of filter points long it makes it cumbersome to select them all manually. I've been manipulating the source data and only pivoting the data within the range I want from there but I feel like it should be easier to select multiple filter points. Is there any way to do this in Excel 2010?

Right click> value filters or you can use a helper colunmn with an if statement on the actual data like if(valuecell<100,"Low","High") and then use that as a filter in the pivot table.

Thanks for the quick response! Just tried the helper column option and it worked great! For the other option where are you supposed to "Right click> value filters"? The helper column is awesome but want to see about a way to manipulate on the fly as well?

Thanks again!
