How to restrict editing after pressing save button in a form

Hi...All,


I have form namely vendor details in ms access 2007, i created four buttons namely save,edit,close,refresh. It works fine, but now i wish to do like if user will press save button after details entry, then it has to restrict the users to edit the details, for editing the user need to click edit button, then he can only edit the details.


I am not so familar with access, so please guide me to resolve this problem
