How to restart formula to look back at line 2 from look up table

Ok, I know this sounds weird, and I'm not even sure if it is possible but thought it would be worth asking.

In the attached Register tab, we look at the Data Sheet to populate from a csv file.

Once the information is populated in the Registered tab, we CTRL V to paste values and delete information from data Sheet and would like to repeat.

Is there a way of getting the formula to reset itself back to look at from e.g. Data Sheet line 2 and not line 13, as in this example? Maybe something to do with Columns?

I'm open to suggestions - We keep the information in the Register tab, and use the filter to remove completed items from view, but we don't want to keep the original data, if that makes sense.

kind regards,

Kelli

Hi Kelli,

I don't see a way to accomplish this with formulae without a cumbersome procedure. A macro can certainly do it.
Perhaps you can also consider using Get & Transform (Power Query).
With Power Query you can read .csv from a folder, append all data from each file and "filter" out columns with a few simple mouse clicks. Seems to be all you need. Loads of fine clips out there who can guide you through the process on how to use PQ for this kind of data transformations.

Hi GraH, sorry for late reply. I not familiar with Power Query and struggle with some excel functions truth be known but thanks anyway.
Maybe one day, it's on my list!
Thanks again Kelli!
