How to reflect "NA" values in a chart

Hi there,

I am trying to create a bar graph but the corresponding range has numeric as well as text (NA) values, problem is bar chart is taking all "NA" values as "0" but my requirement is to display the values in chart which are actually there in the specified range i.e. "NA" as well as other numeric values. Can anyone help me out with this requirement?

Regards,
Mohit

Right click on format data labels

Then uncheck all the label options other than Value From Cells

Then select the range where the values are stored..

I have never in my life used 2010, so I may not be able to answer your question…there is always someone who can answer your query..

However, the otherway of doing this is as below..I have used 2007 here..I know the interface is completely different but you will be able to figure out the way in 2010..

Right click on the labels

On the “Format Data labels” dialog box, click on “Number”

On the right hand of the dialog box, under category click on Custom

Now in Format Code Section Type

#;#;"n/a";

Then Click on Add then Close..
