How to reference a cell, after 1st cell that contains a number

Hi everyone,
Im developing quite an advanced excel sheet, so i will post more questions in the next days...

But basically, first issue I need to tackle, is to develop a formula that is going to find a cell in a row that contains a number, after a cell that contains a number.

For example I have cells in rows with the following values. 1,0,2,3.

I can easily make a formula that finds the first number and references it, in this case 1. But I need a formula, that will look for a number, after the "1", that is bigger than 0 and references it.

I would post an example, but its work stuff so Id need to make a proxy and that would take time...hope u guys udnerstand what I mean :)

Hi ,

If you cannot upload a file , at least give as much information as possible :

1. Which are the cells which will have the numbers ?

2. What is the variation that can take place ? Which cells can remain blank , will cells have text or error values in them ? Will the numbers be 0 or greater or can they also be negative ?

3. Is the logic "look for a number greater than zero after a number that is greater than zero" ?

As you can create this thread, it's very easy to post a sample workbook …
