How to identify the position of occurrence of a particular day in a month

Dear All,

I need to identify the position of a particular day e.g out of the all the saturdays in the month, which is the first, second....etc. How do I go about that?

Dear Narayan,

I need the position of the day to be populated in the cells marked in "yellow" on the topmost row of the sheet based on the date of that month. Your sheet has identified the dates that are saturdays and you have mentioned the position in the corresponding cell.

What I need is that the position 1st, 2nd etc...will be pupulated based on the day/date e.g if 13/05/2017 was a saturday and it was the 2nd of the total number of saturdays in that month, the result will populate as digital 2.

Please find the attached file. I need this to identify the week off of a particular bunch of employees who have week offs on 2nd and fourth saturdays.

See the attached file. To change to a different month , just change the date in cell B2.
