How to get number of weeks in a month

Hi,

I am trying to get count of weeks from a month.
I tried various formula from Google but not able to get correct result.

All formulas are giving me result as 4.
For example, October 2018 have 5 weeks (Monday) but I am not getting correct result.

Can anyone please help me in this.

Hi,

Pls write 1st date of the month like
A1: 1-oct-2018

and put below formula in B1 to get your result

=SUMPRODUCT(--(WEEKDAY(ROW(INDIRECT(A1&":"&EOMONTH(A1,0))),2)=1))

Another option,

A1 : 1st date of the month

B1, formula :

=INT(((EOMONTH(A1,0)-A1+MOD(A1-3,7)+1)/7))
