How to get month and year to show on x axis

Hi Folks,

I have a chart where I have managed to get the month and year to show on the axis, however I get repeates of month (i.e. May.May May) and the year appears below each month rather than show as 2014 and 2015 and soon 2016.

I am also trying to get the month to read between the monthly grid lines and am having difficulty getting that right.

If any one could help in this regard it would be most appreciated.

The chart in question is chart 1 on the Report worksheet.

Issue is that data point for each month isn't same. Some have 4, some have 5.
So it's nearly impossible to get right distribution for tick mark and labels.

As is, chart can be misleading with tick mark set to occur every 4 since month does not fall neatly inline with it.

I'd suggest using either week# or Month to roll up the data, or using different presentation method.

I like the idea of using week numbers and that being the case then surely that can be then allocated to months -or is my thinking the illogical?

There will be uneven number of weeks per month, so it's going to have same issue.
