How to get data form other computer file?

I am using three files as below:


1)Project Master file.

2)Individual Project file.

3)Individual Project Report File.


2nd file data is coming from 1st one file & 3rd file data i am entering manually.

So My question is how to get or by which formula i can get manually entered data from 3rd file to 1st file?


Problem: I have used following formula for getting manual entered data from 3rd file but it's works when that 3rd will be open otherwise it's showing #REF error.

=indirect("'[RRN &$B6&.xlsx]RRN'!$O$18")


Note:All files are at one place in same computer.

Maybe you could use this macro?

Wouldn't be a live link, but it could work in a similar manner. Nice thing to is that the macro could reference cells (like B6 in your formula) and use that to build the reference formula.
