How to Generate Automatically Serial Number if having blank rows??

Hello,

I have around more than 1000+ students data in worksheet (Study Center Wise).

but the problem is when i make a sheet at that time i have given serial number automatically e.g. 1,2, and than double click..

but now i have insert a rows between the study center. so, if i remove around 10 students & replace the students one center to another center serial number will changed. so, every time i have to write manually serial number. some time by mistake i wrote wrong serial number.. so, final result will be also wrong..

So, can you please resolve this problem.

How to write serial number if having blank rows also ??

Hi Pulkit,

Well I did not fully understood your requirement, but see if this work. I will assume you are asking a solution for "FEE Share" sheet.

So in A11, put 1 and below formula in A12 and copy down:

=IF(C12<>"",MAX(A$11:A11)+1,"")
