How to fix “There was a problem sending the command to the program” error 1004 in Excel VBA?

Hello friends, I have some Microsoft Excel files from some other computer that I need to open in my PC. However, whenever I try to open them, I am welcomed with this annoying message. I have tried every fix proposed by Microsoft but none worked. I had the latest version installed in my PC and I did online repair a well, I disabled DDE in the excel options along with many other things with no success. This has been causing me a lot of issues as I desperately need to review these files as soon as possible. I have opened many excel files before in my PC but this is the first time I am experiencing this problem. I have also reinstalled the entire MS Office to resolve the issue, but it didn’t work either. If anyone can help me with this problem, I would be very grateful.

Did you try without macros enabled ?

Do the files still open on the "other" computer, if so then there may be links in the files with a drive/folder location on the other computer that the files need to open correctly.

thanks for your suggestion but i had to joined the training institute because i have to no more details regarding vba excel and i really appreciated to SLA Consultants India This training program has helped me a lot and also taught me more about vba excel & macros and its various uses.
