How to eliminate a character from a column...

I have a "/" mark in a phone number and I have 1000 phone numbers in a column. I would like to eliminate the "/" from all my phone numbers. How do I do that?

crtl-F, replace "/" with nothing, hit "replace all" button.

hi-light the area where you need to replace "/" first, then do the steps above.
